5 Best Tips  for Healthy Life 

A healthy lifestyle is one which helps to keep and improve people’s health, well-being and overcome lots of stress. It is important for a better life. Being healthy means following a healthy diet, regular workout and other health care activities.  Here are some tips that can help for a healthy lifestyle.

 

Eat a healthy diet

Eat different combinations of foods, including fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grains.  Eating fresh and variety of fruits and vegetables and protein food such as seafood, eggs, meats, and poultry is also good practice. By eating healthy, you will reduce your risk of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases, stroke, and cancer.

Consume less salt and sugar

Most people get their sodium through salt. Reduce your salt intake to 5 g per day equivalent to about one tablespoon. You can reduce the amount of salt intake by limiting the amount of salt, soy sauce, fish sauce, and other sodium condiments when preparing your meals.



Reduce intake of harmful fats

Fats can be categorized as saturated fat, unsaturated fat, and Trans - fat. Saturated fat is mainly found in fatty meat, butter, palm, coconut oil, cream, cheese, and ghee. Unsaturated fat is found in fish avocado, nuts, sunflower soybean, canola, and olive oil. Trans fat is found in baked and fried foods, prepackaged snacks foods such as frozen pizza, cookies, biscuits, cooking oil, and spreads. Try to reduce intake of foods that consists of saturated fat. It will be helped to prevent unhealthy weight gain.

 



Avoid ultra – procced foods

Ultra-proceed foods are foods containing ingredients that are significantly modified from their original form. It can be contained additives like sugar, highly refined oil, salt, preservatives, artificial sweetness, colors, and flavors. Avoiding Snack cakes, fast foods, frozen meats, canned foods, and chips helps for a healthy life.

Prepare your food correctly

Unsafe food containing harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemical substances. It causes diseases ranging from diarrhea to cancers. If you are buying and preparing food, try to follow these things.

  •          Check the labels or actual product to ensure whether it is safe to eat.
  •          Keep food at the right temperature.
  •          Cook food thoroughly
  •          Use safe water.
